fait accompli – to italicize, or not to italicize 5 answers
I am writing a document in which phrases such as "et al.", "in vitro", and
"ex vivo" are to be italicized. However, is a very common English (yet
foreign) phrase such as "vice versa" to be italicized? Is there a general
rule of thumb for determining this?
